Brick Wants You to Get ‘Appy!
All of our team here at Brick technology are always getting a bit excited over the next big thing whether it is in regard to internet marketing, new technologies or the announcement of the new iPad 3 which was the most recent! In our next workshop we are going to be inviting our customers to come and Get ‘Appy with us whilst we cover everything they need to know about mobile apps.
What is an app?
Who uses apps?
How are apps used?
How can a business use mobile apps?
Will an app work across a number of platforms?
These are just some of the questions which we regularly get asked at Brick technology web design by clients when we bring up the topic of mobile apps and thus we thought let’s get our clients together and all Get ‘Appy together!
We will share with you everything from the basics about what an app is and the various types of apps which are available before discussing who uses apps and for what reason. Once everyone has a basic understanding of what they are and how they can used we will then discuss how many have implemented an app into their business and how it is making a difference.
The technicalities of an app will then be discussed about what platforms they work on. Finally we will run through the process of how you would create an app with Brick technology. The workshop will take place on:
Tuesday 27th March 2012 at 2pm and we hope to see you there "Getting ‘Appy!"
If you want to come for an afternoon to our workshop then make sure you call us and speak to Hayley or any of our team and book your place today!
There are 4 billion phones in use in the world today and from these a massive 1.08 billion are smartphones and this figure is increasing every single day. Of the total number of searches made online every single day half of these are made using a mobile device such as a phone, iPad or tablet.
Well over 300,000 mobile apps have been developed in the last three years and some of the best ones have peaked having had 10.9 billion downloads. Three in four apps once downloaded are used again and again; mobile apps are going nowhere they are here to stay so get it whilst they are the next BIG thing and is deadly hot you need to grab it!
Technology experts have predicted that in 2013 with the development of many apps happening right now there is going to be a HUGE demand for them.
